BEER? Yes, that’s right. Although I’m not the biggest beer drinker around, I found the perfect Texas summer beer. Shiner Ruby Redbird is Shiner’s seasonal beer full of refreshing and light flavor. I’m not big on IPA’s or super strong beers, and this particular beer almost makes you forget you’re drinking a beer. Its delicious tinges of grapefruit and citrusy goodness makes it perfect for hot triple-digit days like the ones here in Texas. Best part? It’s so good, you’ll finish it before it starts to get hot outside…which I have found becomes a real problem in the Texas heat. I’m no beer expert, but I enjoyed this beer so much I thought I’d recommend it to all of you. So get out there and find a case– it’s relatively cheap and it will only be around til September.
