A few days ago I was so tired of not being able to the grocery store, that I just got up on my one crutch and hobbled throughout Central Market with a basket hanging from my arm. Although it was painful and I got some weird looks, at least I have some fun new-to-me products I want to share with you all.
If you didn’t giggle at the name, you’re more mature than I am. I am a sucker for cute packaging and new items, and when I saw all the flavors of cashews, I was so excited. Even though I’m not cashew nuts’s #1 fan, I still like them and these honey cashews are sweet, and they make a great dessert replacement…or accompaniment. One thing I’d like to change? Their 3 ingredients are cashews, honey & organic evaporated cane juice. It’d be nice if it were just cashews & honey. But that’s ok! These nuts are dry roasted sans oil and they’re 100% natural.
Other flavors worth noting: chocolate, toasted coconut, sea salt & cajun. They also make almonds: dark choc, cinnamon & ginger orange.
2. Chocolove dark chocolate, sea salt & almond bar.
I’ve seen lots of you bloggers out there raving about this chocolate bar so I had to give it a go. And by give it a go I mean I knew I’d love it so I had to buy one. The hints of sea salt is perfection, it’s dark chocolate so I can justify it as an “OK” dessert/snack andddd there’s a love poem inside. Mine was kind of long and odd, but there’s a love poem on a chocolate bar and that’s all that matters.
3. Tempt Hemp milk
No, I’m not a hippie and yes, I was intrigued by this hemp milk. Although I’m not quite sure how it compares to almond/coconut/soy milk, I know it’s better than any kind of dairy. To be honest, I was searching for my favorite coconut milk to put in my smoothies but Central Market didn’t have it. Instead I opted for Tempt, and their unsweetened vanilla gave my smoothie a creamy, not-to-sweet flavor and I love that there’s a lot less sugar per serving compared to almond milk.
And along with my Tempt hemp milk I also purchased some hemp milk ICE CREAM! Can’t wait to try it.
Have you all had any of these products? What did you think?
