Cru Wine Bar

Good afternoon (almost evening) foodies!

I’m finally getting to blog a bit more and it’s making me really happy. I really hope you all enjoy reading almost as much as I enjoy writing…comments would help! I know there are readers out there (thanks to WordPress analytics). ANYWAY! While I do get behind on blogging, I almostĀ never get behind on blog reading. My Blog Lovin account is my best friend.

So let’s get to the point. I finally got to try Cru out and loved spending the evening out on the patio with Ryan and our friend Danny, sipping on a bottle of a crisp and not to sweet Sauvignon Blanc. It was a sweltering 90+ degrees so white wine was our match.

The bottle prices were high, but I guess I should have expected that. I’m used to my regular wine bar spots like Veritas and Vino 100 where you can find a great selection of wines that are sold at retail prices. But! Cru did have a pretty good menu, and we really enjoyed our pear and gorgonzola pizza. Which is not pictured because we were so hungry and I forgot to take a photo.

If you’re a wine person, you might want to enjoy a glass at Cru!

Bon Appetit,

That Foodie Girl
